They are late 90s from Chadwick's so you know they are quality. Fully-lined in black poly taffeta. Roomy pockets, belt loops, and oh yes, front pleating too. Thin waistband has stretch at the sides. Black white teeny tiny sort-of "check" makes them look tweedy or gray from far way. No flaws.
