Vintage cotton "safari" dress from Dolce&Gabbana's D&G label. Bodice has adjustable grosgrain straps and vertical boning inside. The bodice is very densely gathered but held in place with horizontal grosgrain ribbons. The skirt is also gathered, but is highly adjustable. There is a silk casing on the backside of the hem through which runs a long elastic cord used to control how small or large the skirt is at the bottom. We are showing it tightened, but you can make it as full as you like. The last photo shows how much cord is available to adjust the skirt. You can tie up the ends to hide any excess inside the skirt. Closure is with a back zipper. Labeled Italian size 44 which generally corresponds to a US size 8. However, Dolce&Gabbana sizing usually runs small, so please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding size.
