It's "matte" goldtone (not shiny) and it was a popular look in jewelry in the 80s & 90s. Avon Sun Medallion is a brooch as well as a pendant and it's from 1994 EXACTLY. Clear rhinestone eyes. It's big - 2 1/2"! Lots of fun places to put brooches these days, some are shown in last few photos, but this one is also a pendant if you just add a chain or ribbon -- you can see it as a pendant in photo 3 (chain not included--it's silvertone-wrong color) It's looks hardly used. One photo clearly shows cartouche with Avon mark. Will come in a gift box
