Beautiful cotton caftan with quilted and sequined floral appliques on the front. The tag says it's from the Smithsonian so it must have been sold through the gift shop or a catalog. It's dark red, but is slightly faded from washing. Otherwise it's in excellent condition, except for a tiny pinhole in the front that may have been caused by a cigarette ash - shown in an image. The size tag is missing but it's not very large, although it's a caftan style so is very roomy. Shoulder to shoulder is 14", the overall length is 41", sleeves are 12. 5", the chest is 44" when measured under the arms, and the hips and waist can expand up to 60".
