I have a secret- I actually like 80's/90's does 1940's better than actual 1940's.

I feel like I can wear the 40's inspired pieces more freely. Without the fear that I am going to damage an 80 year old rare, and possibly fragile, garment.

This 1940's INSPIRED rayon dress is just dreamy. Deepest midnight blue silky rayon with a print of purple pansies with teal highlights. Dramatic dolman cut to the sleeves that slim down and button at the wrists. Pleats at the front from the waist up the bodice and then down the front of the hips. There are slim loops for a belt, no belt is included. Pockets at both hips. Straight skirt in a below the knee length. Functional buttons completely down the back with one metal hook at the waist. The skirt is lined in acetate.
