Italian knit floral top from Averardo Bessi is 100% cotton, originally sold by the New York boutique, Delle Celle. Neck labels have been removed, but Bessii always signed his prints, and the Averardo Bessi signature can be seen at the top right in the last photo. Believed to date from the 1990s-2000s. Currently Averardo Bessi button down cotton shirts are retailing for $515, so the pullover tops probably cost less, but I couldn't find comparables online to confirm current pricing.

Sellers Notes: Founded in 1950, the Averardo Bessi label introduced his famously printed fabrics that were reminiscent of Emilio Pucci, one of his contemporaries, in 1966 (some sources state that Bessi was in fact a fabric designer for Pucci). Bessi designs still have a very loyal following among European and American women, and his vintage pieces are highly collectible. Established in 1974 in New York City, Delle Celle features many respected brands of Italian-fabricated women's clothing.
