With the release of Downton Abbey: A New Era we thought it appropriate to offer an evening gown worthy of the ladies of Downton Abbey.
For evening in the 1920s women wanted to look elegant so they wore beadwork, embroidery and lace……..not the tacky fringe you see today on all the mass produced “flapper” dresses.
Circa 1990s, this dress has a definite 1920s vibe.
Crafted from floral lace, in a beige/champagne hue,this 2-piece ensemble is embellished with tiny gold sequins that catch the light beautifully and creates a slight shimmer as you walk or dance.
Satin trimmed jacket with a stunning rhinestone closure.
The hem of the jacket is scalloped and dips slightly in the back.
The hemline of the dress is also scalloped.
This would be the perfect dress for a wedding, Gatsby party or any roaring 20s event.

No label, probably best suited for size 16…....Xlarge, 1X.
