This is a GORGEOUS Piece from Kenneth J Lane. This Piece is signed under the Pendant Center. This is a 4 Strand Emerald and Pearl Necklace. These are Champagne Colored Glass Beads that are knotted and then highlighted with the Rhinestone Framed Emerald Center. The Color of the Pearls have an Antique Look and the Necklace itself is so Reminiscent of the Necklaces Princess Diana wore. The Closure on each side also has Rhinestones, and it is adjustable in length. The Current Three Strand Style of this Necklace is Listed for $500.

Some History of Kenneth J Lane - He started designed jewelry and launched his own business in 1963 while he was producing bejeweled footwear for Dior and Arnold Scaasi. He first came to the public's attention after Jo Hughes, as fashion insider, showed some of these designs to Wallis, the Duchess of Windsor. The Duchess bought several of his pieces and recommended him to her friends. Both Costume Jewelry and Society Reported were popular at the time and he became very popular copying very high-end jewelry, and his clients loved it!

Jackie Kennedy was among those who commissioned his pieces so she could wear them more freely and keep her valuable pieces in the safe. In addition to his American Clientele, he had Boutiques in London and Paris. He did designs for Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland, and Audrey Hepburn along with other high-profile clients. More recently in 2011 Brittney Spears and Nicole Richie have been seen wearing his Designs.
