Gorgeous black wool gabardine jacket by Escada Couture, circa early 1990s.

Hourglass cut with front and back princess seaming for a flattering fit. Cropped length.

Nipped waist with curved bottom as pictured.

Pink silk satin notched lapels and turn back winged cuffs. The back of the collar is black velvet as pictured.

Does up the center front with five 7/8" diameter domed buttons covered with black velvet.

The horizontal buttonholes are done with pink silk satin.

Right and left front pockets with black velvet trim retain their original factory stitching and have never been opened.

Lined with black silk with woven in Escada signature motif.

Shoulder pads for shaping.

DESIGNER LABEL: Escada Couture / Made in Germany / 65% Wool / 35% Silk

CONDITION: Excellent - There are no rips, holes, snags, odors, fading, worn areas, or discoloration.

SIZING: Tagged a vintage size 36. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Small to smallish Medium.

MEASUREMENTS - Taken Flat and Unstretched:

Shoulders: 15-1/2" - across

Outer Sleeves: 22" - shoulder seam to sleeve end (with 2-1/2" turned back cuffs)

Inner Sleeves: 14-3/4" - underarm to sleeve end

Bust: 35" - underarm to underarm

Waist: 28" - around

Bottom: 30-1/2" - around

Length: 21" - center back to bottom of peplum

Beautiful dressed up with a skirt or dress pants or dressed down with jeans and a tee shirt.
