Authentic, preowned, vintage Jill Richards dress with ruffles, likely made in the 1990s. Made from a rich navy blue Dupioni silk, it fastens wrap style with small hidden snaps and hook/eye closures and includes a removable sheer white vanity panel for the chest (which can be removed if you'd like to show a bit of décolletage)!. White ruffles trim the collar and sleeve cuffs, giving the dress a "Kitty Foyle" look, a reference to the dark colored dress with white collar worn by Ginger Rogers in her 1940 movie of the same name (see last image for reference). Quality made and so easy to style with a pair of pumps and some pearls! Fully-lined in silk/dry clean only. Preowned/vintage with signs of use and prior wear: we note discoloration to the inside lining under the arm pit areas (cannot be seen when worn); one area of lining looks unprofessionally repaired (this cannot be seen from outside), see image 10. Tagged size 6. Approximate measurements, taken flat and doubled where appropriate: shoulders - 15.5in, bust - 36in, waist - 28in, hips - 38in, shoulder to hem - 40in, sleeves - 24in.
