This set is the epitome of 90s ultra-chic NYC fashion. Professional construction from the Donna Karan New York black label. The set features a beautifully tailored, structural wrap top and a pair of sleek, flared-leg trousers. The fabric is a bold black, super lightweight, ultra-fluid wool crepe fabric - both garments are unlined. Note that the fabric is very lightweight and breathable with really phenomenal movement and comfort. The tailoring and fit of this garment is as you would assume from a high-end designer.

The design of the top features a hidden interior button and band wrap waist closure (see 3rd photo), the front right side then wraps to the left with 2 long lengths of fabric to tie at the waist. There is an incredibly sexy plunging neckline and a drape of fabric to the left of the neckline, this can be worn as shown, hanging off to the side for that bit of structural design - or wrapped across the chest to cover the décolletage. The shoulders have a good bit of padding the sleeves have a runway length with a bit of flare at the cuff. The length of the top covers the hips while the wrap waist maintains a desirable silhouette.

The trousers are classic and sleek, mid to low rise with no band - fitted through the hips and thighs with a gradual slinky flare down to the cuff. The trousers fasten with a rear central zipper and top hook and eye.

Condition for both pieces is excellent, zero issues to note. Utterly flawless with perfect presentation. This is a timeless ensemble to add to your wardrobe and a core sophisticated set that every closet should own.
