So I found the top first, and just fell in love with the fabric design and sheer rayon.....it goes great with jeans or a black formal, so I purchased it, while thrifting. THEN, I found the dress, separately, months later, at a different thrift store! I recognized the print, so I brought it home. The dress is much too small for me, and there is no zipper or buttons. The fabric stretches, because it is cut on the bias, just like a 1930's dress would be. But even so, I cannot get it over my broad shoulders. The jacket is a one size fits all, (l), but the dress says (M). ...so I think it could be a small. There are two knicks in the bottom hem of the dress...see close ups. Maybe a scissors was involved...one in front and one in back. Just shortening the dress about an inch will fix both. The dress has a lovely flouncy collar and short flouncy cap sleeves...hard to see in photos. No other flaws, except it looks like the red ties of the top have been shortned....still long enough to tie in front, if that it your desire. Together they make a lovely outfit, in a stylish and comfortable rayon crepe. Red trim is cotton. Original tags still on dress. Enjoy!
