1940s style, slim silhouette column dress with strong shoulders. Made in the early 90s by Jessica Lauren. The fabric is black rayon with little off-white daisies, that look like polka dots from a distance. Dress has wrap front with V neck and lapels. Bodice has pleats at the waist and blousons into a double buttoned (shell buttons) waistband. The waistband is elasticized in back and there are gathers above and below it. Straight skirt has hidden slit ( behind the wrap front fold) for easy movement. Pockets in side seams, yay! Skirt hits about mid calf depending on your height. Short sleeves have shoulder pads and cuffs. 1940's inspired career wear dress, has a Joan Crawford vibe!
