Gorgeous black cotton kaftan dress embellished with metallic silver embroidery. Made in India, circa 1990s.

Medium weight jet black cotton caftan embellished with machine done metallic silver embroidery on the front and back bodice and around the bottom.

The embroidery is in the shape of swirls and paisley as pictured.

Vee neckline accented with twisted black cord which extends into long ties embellished with tassels as pictured.

The same cord is used to accent the top of the shoulders and around the armholes.

This kaftan is made to be worn by a variety of sizes.

The short sleeves are cut as part of the bodice with no separate armhole seams.

Unlined with no pockets.

CONDITION: Excellent with no issues. There are no odors, discoloration, fading, stains, snags, pulls, runs, or holes. Gently worn and very well cared for. Clean and ready to wear.

SIZING: Tagged a size L to XL. However, based on the measurements below, I'd say this dress will best fit a modern 1X, 2X to 3X comfortably. Please keep in mind that this is made to be worn loosely.

CONDITION: Excellent with no stains, odors, discoloration, fading, rips, holes, snags, or tears. Appears to have been rarely, if ever, worn and well cared for.

SIZING: Tagged as a vintage size L to XL. However, based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size from an Extra Extra Large, 1X or 2X depending on how you like your fit.
