This simplistic design jacket screams 'Androgynous Workwear'!
Featuring overly simplified design details (so early 90's), this lightly structured jacket seems to take inspiration from 1920's-40's factory workwear. It is made from a medium weight rayon and linen blend fabric in deep indigo-purple color. It has collared neck, yoked shoulders with light shoulder padding, metal zipper center front closure, and diagonal well pockets at lower waist. Jacket is lined with a lightweight acetate fabric. The overall condition is very good with one small flaw: two light white marks at inside right sleeve at cuff (these were most likely created from a Dry Cleaner's presser machine) and a couple repaired stitches at zipper. Label reads 'Lord & Taylor, Fifth Avenue Collection, The American Woman' and 'shell: 55% linen/45% rayon, lining:100% acetate, made in China, Dry Clean, size 14W'. Please see photographs for full details.
