Beautiful red velvet dressy coat is from the design team of Aurora Rufolo and Christian Ruperto. (At some point, the Rufolo attribution was dropped and Ruperto continued to design under his name alone. As of 2008, the label became "Christian Ruperto for Alta Moda.") Like all of Ruperto's designs, this coat showcases exacting attention to detail and highly refined craftsmanship. It has couture details such as hand stitched edging in red silk and hand-stitched buttonholes. In addition, the coat has a lovely ruffled collar, faceted black glass buttons, and patch pockets. The fabric is channel quilted in a combination of red silk on the interior and patterned velvet on the exterior. We are currently carrying several wonderful Christian Ruperto designs, and none of them have size or fabric labels, which is a mystery to me. Our sizing tables indicate that this coat is a modern size 6-8 or S/M . Please use the measurements for the best guidance regarding size.
