Venerable Italian menswear maker, Brioni, is known for luxurious fabrics and meticulous tailoring, characteristics that can be found in this soft and lightweight luxury cashmere woman's jacket. The jacket has soft shoulders, a standing collar, five button closure (plus another button to close the standing collar when called for by the weather), two besom pockets, three-button cuffs, and a back vent – all similar to menswear styling. Currently, a Brioni suit for men costs at least $6000 and can go as high as $17,000. Brioni for women is very rare, and I couldn’t find a comparable woman’s jacket online. However, similar cashmere jackets for men currently sell for between $5000 and $7000 at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. Labeled US size 8. This is a slightly vintage jacket, so the size might vary from a contemporary size 8. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.
