Contrary to popular belief (and to the masses of poorly constructed “flapper” dresses sold online) fringe was not the most common thing you saw on flappers in the 1920s.
Beadwork, embroidery and lace were the most popular and most used.
This real vintage dress from the 90s gives a definite nod to the 1920s.
Crated from semi sheer lace, the muted brown color palette adds to the period feel.
Moderately full skirt that moves beautifully as you walk or dance.
There is a matching silk silk that comes with this dress and can be worn under the dress if so desired.
This dress would be the perfect option for a Gatsby wedding, jazz age lawn party or any roaring 20s event.
No size label, probably best suited for a modern size x-small to small.

Our dress form measures 35”-26”-37”, it was a nice fit.
Excellent condition. Only issue noted was a tiny pull in the lace, only found when viewing close up while measuring.
