This is such a great bag; We absolutely understand the name (though they are now called flight attendants) it was given; These had been issued to flight attendants as their standard carry on bag. A perfect size for a carry on bag, but not so big that you couldn't use it as a large medium sized purse on a daily basis. Perfect for a person on the go (and it fits an iPad too)! This was made in the United States shortly before the start of the organized serial number debut in the mid 1990s, and the leather is buttery soft, 30 years later... a sign of true quality!

~CONDITION:
It is in very good vintage condition considering it's a 30 something year old workhorse! There is minor piping wear at the buckle areas, which is very common in this style, but they are minor- see closeup pic. It came to me with scratches on the front flap... while I wasn't able to get them completely out, but after a lot of massaging and conditioning of the leather, they are severely minimized. The bag has been bathed, slowly dried, given a deep conditioning, and the brass polished in preparation for her next stop in life.
