Beautiful silk Sue Wong cocktail dress with exquisite needlework! The fabric is a dark brown sheer silk mesh over a pink polyester lining. These two layers of color become a dark plum to the eye, very rich! The amazing needlework consists of: ribbon flowers and rosettes, beading and embroidery, so pretty! This treatment is on the straps, empire waist line, the hem, and trailing up the center front. The same on the back. V neck dress, with padding in bust for support, is sleeveless with an empire waist. The mesh fabric is pleated horizontally over the bust. Dress only slightly flares out to knee length hem and is finished off with lace trim over a strip of pink chiffon. Hidden zipper and hook and eye n side seam. This sweet little dress is "art to wear"!
