This is a classic looking women's jacket, beautifully made by Burberrys' - I'm dating it early to mid 1990s based on the company name change to Burberry in the late 90s. It is nicely tailored, with moderately padded shoulders and gently curvy princess seaming. The double breasted front gives it a subtle military flair when worn fully buttoned.
SIZE: Labeled size 10. Measurements taken with jacket fully buttoned.
Bust - 39. 5" (100. 25 cm)
Shoulders - 17" (43 cm)
Approximate waist - 34" (86. 5 cm)
Length - 24" (81 cm)
Sleeve length - 23. 75" (60. 25 cm)
FABRIC/COLORS: fine wool suiting material in a camel tan color, 100% wool per tag, and dry clean only. The jacket is fully lined in a peach colored acetate type fabric.
TAGS: Burberrys' of London, made in USA.
CLOSURES: Eight tortoise-y plastic buttons down the front, four on each side.
CONDITION: I see three tiny fabric nibbles (not a full-on hole) in the upper right sleeve and shoulder area - see closeup of the two near the shoulder. No other issues noted.
