They say that style is cyclical, and these shoes are the perfect example of that...
These late 90's-early 2000's-does-1970's styles are now BACK in style! I used to drool over the amazing shoe ads in Seventeen magazine (when I was a teenager in the late 90's) and Lower East Side (along with Van's, Airwalks, Doc Martens, and Skechers) were the leaders of the pack, convincing us of how we too could be 'cool'. These are your classic open-back clog design shoes, complete with wooden soles. The brown leather & suede patchwork design gives that nod to 1970's. Large round metal brads that adhere the upper shoe to the wooden soles, give a sight edge. These shoes also feature rubber gripper designs on the bottom soles, for needed traction. The overall condition is excellent, with very little overall wear (some light scuffs) -please see photographs for full description. Marked 'Lower East Side, size 7.5, Leather upper, balance man made materials, made in Brazil'.
