Fabulous vintage cocktail dress from Bill Blass features many couture details such as hand-sewn ruching, self-covered buttons, and very fine silk fabric. The dress has a blouson design wtih dolman sleeves and both ruching and zippers at the cuffs. The fabric is also ruched around the hips except for a panel in the front. The dress closes to the waist with a zipper and then with self-covered buttons up to the neckline. Although no fabric label is present (which along with the union label confirms that the dress is probably from 1985) it is definitely silk with charmeuse stripes alternating with matte faille. Lined in sage green silk. Labeled vintage size 6, but using the waist and hip measurements, sizing tables indicate it is in the modern size 2-4 range.

MEASUREMENTS
- Dolman sleeves have no shoulder seams and allow for a range of shoulder widths and chest sizes.
- Waist is 24"
- Hips are 35"
- Length is 39" down center back

CONDITION
Appears to be unworn. However, the original shoulder pads have been removed, but can easily be replaced if desired. Either way, it will look fabulous!
