This is an incredible 1980's cocktail dress made by "Zum Zum". It is made of silky, deep dark crimson...nearly black velvet (acetate, nylon), It appears at first glance as near black but when the light hits it looks crimson red, and when the nap of the velvet is moved it looks brighter red- It is insanely cool! The dramatic halter neckline is framed with dramatic black sequin details on the bodice. It features a sexy wiggle fit with darts in all the right places and a deep side slit. It has a back nylon zipper closure and hook & eyes at the neckline. It has an exquisite hourglass shape- Bombshell Approved! Labeled a size 7/8, no stretch, please use the measurements for an accurate fit by comparing them to a garment that fits you well. Measures: 34" Bust, 28" waist, 38" hips, 56" long shoulder to hem. Good wearable condition with some cosmetic flaws. There are some indentations in the velvet that stand out because it shows as a bright crimson red when the nap is moved. The previous owner held the side slit together with a thick thread and where that was looped the nap has changed directions, as well as a few other spots where things were pressed against the velvet in storage, causing the same effect. If you're a Velvet Whisperer this dress needs you! Priced accordingly.
