I find it so fascinating that fashion and silhouettes recycle through the history. This featherweight dress is absolutely inspired by the silhouette of the 1920's but the bold print and the wide waist are unmistakably 1980's. The blend of the eras creates a truly fresh style.

Bold cobalt blue silky poly dress with an interesting print of black sunbursts, neon pink and white leaves. Blouson style bodice with pointed split sleeves. Extremely wide black cummerbund waist that is gathered at the sides. The bodice is lined in black poly. The skirt is unlined, but it is not sheer. The back bodice is split, so the black lining shows through. YKK nylon zipper up the back.

Label is too shredded and faded to decipher.

-There is a bit of fade at the underarms on the lining.

-Under the cummerbund there is a line of color transfer on the skirt. This does not show when wearing.
