80s Victorian-revival Linen Dress With Guipure Lace$165.00
This dress is SO unique, and there are a lot of different things you can do with it: the set consists of a linen shirtdress, with an "underskirt" slip that creates a mermaid hemline when worn together. I love the dress worn slightly unbuttoned with pants as well, or on it's own! Made in the 1980s, the exaggerated shoulders are a nod to the mutton sleeves of the late Victorian era— I love this (comparatively) modern take on such a distinct style. Note that there are shoulder pads which could be removed to make the sleeves slightly less exaggerated. I am a sucker for guipure lace, and this appliqué is gorgeous. The entire construction here is exceptional, with interspersed snap closures in the button front, to ensure there is no gaping.
Measurements: This is better suited for a size Medium or larger especially when worn as a dress. Shown here on a Small and it works for a Small/matters less when worn as a top.

Great vintage condition. The main dress does not show noticeable signs of wear. There are some minor issues with the underslip, including some unnoticeable mending to the hem, and very slight discoloration to the upper part (which is not meant to be seen).
