DESCRIPTION: This large, impressive brooch, ca. 1980s, is marked "925, Taxco TA-25, Mexico." The round beaded cluster is set off by four faux gem cabochons: green and blue turquoise, carnelian, and lapis. An interesting abstract design, incorporating modernist and space-age elements. Very solid; weighs about 20 grams, so it's suitable for a coat, jacket, or heavy sweater or sweater dress.

SIZE: Measures about 2 1/4" top to bottom and 1 3/4" across.

CONDITION: Excellent to near mint. Almost no sign of having been worn. Some minor surface scratches and a wee bit of edge tarnishing on the back. Any dark spots are due to reflections and are not in the metal.
