Classic 1990s pleated pants from Christian Lacroix feature a high waist, a 1 3/4-inch wide self belt with belt loops, inverted pleats in front. They also have a side zipper and on-seam pockets. The pants fabric is a tropical weight wool. They date from the late 1980s - early 1990s. Labeled Italian size 44, which is more-or-less equivalent to modern US sizes 8 or 10. The measurements put them closer to size 10.

Accompanying the pants is a lovely shawl that is not the same brand, but exactly the same coloration as the pants. The knit shawl (by MEXX) is about six feet long made in a viscose and wool blend yarn (I thought it was cashmere before finding the fabric label). The shawl is backed in silk chiffon that is wider than the shawl, creating a three-inch border all the way around. This listing is for both pieces.

- Inseam is 28.5" with enough fabric in the hem to lengthen if desired.
