Keep it cozy, AND chic, in this designer Dress-Coat hybrid by Claude Montana...

The 1980's was THE decade for Claude Montana, who was known for designs with an emphasis on empowering women. These styles matched perfectly with the new 'Working Woman' wave of the 80's. He produced pieces with strong and masculine silhouettes; broad shoulders, trim waist, and Menswear details. This hybrid Coat-Dress is a perfect example, with its semi-structured build and androgynous flair. It is made form a heavy weight, pure wool, tan colored fabric that has a soft and lightly brushed surface. Shoulders are structured with shoulder pads, but this sheath style dress has minimal lines overall. Two breast patch pockets, hip welt pockets, a hidden front button placket, side zipper closure and gold crested buttons are the only details. Coat-dress is fully lined with a lightweight acetate. Overall condition is excellent, with little to no signs of wear and only three small flaws; one small mark on back left shoulder, as well as two small areas of light surface pile wear.
