This stunning blazer/jacket was made by Rickie Freeman for Teri Jon in the 1980s. The quilted black jacket is made of 100% silk fabric and is covered in a bright watercolor floral pattern. Featuring puff sleeves, shoulder pads, and a nipped in waist that creates a peplum effect. Zips from the tassel to just above the bust. There is a hook and eye closure behind the tassel. In very good vintage condition. To note: on the back of the right sleeve, there is a vertical line (photo 10). I don't know if it's a pulled thread. It's hard to see unless you're looking for it. The zipper has lost some of its paint (photo 9). A couple of flowers on the inside of the right sleeve have some lines going through them - perhaps pulled threads? See enlarge the last two photos to see. Otherwise, gorgeous. Marked size 12, with the following approximate flat lay measurements:
Chest from armpit to armpit: 19”
Shoulder to shoulder: 16.75”
Waist: 16”
Length: 22.75”
Sleeve length: 23”
