Get the ease and cut of silk pajamas, in an outfit bold enough for the streets...
This super comfy, oversized cut (hello, 80's!) silk set is classic and timeless. The super lightweight woven silk features a colorful brushstroke, jungle florals print on white ground color. The blouse has a wide upper body cut all over, with 3/4-length sleeves ending in a tight cuff and XL patch pocket at left breast. The upper back yoke features wide pleats and the hem line is a hi-lo, with a longer hem -or tail- at the back. The pants are relaxed as well, with a very simple cut: high, elasticized waist, hidden hip pockets and simple side-vented cuffs. All unlined. This is a wonderful set from the 80's, featuring all the exaggerated and oversized details you'd expect.
Peter Mui was a Chinese-American designer (and country musician on the side) who's career was jump-started after Bonwit-Teller bought five of his silk shirt designs... other high-end stores soon followed suit.
