Strips of patchwork metallic silver and platinum reptile - alligator or snakeskin - may be faux? leather? It's not labeled real, no tags. Also striped with tans and browns. Could be leather - it seems to be real but no guarantee.

Zipper closure and interior zipper pocket. Both work well.
Classic 1980's design small purse with the really narrow long strap. Nice clean interior. A few very light signs of use on the solid platinum back side. Just a few dots where the sheen has worn off - very small and does not detract from the bag.
