In addition to the stunning royal blue and black fabric, this vintage skirt suit from Enamuel Ungaro features a single-button jacket that is pieced so that it flares out at the bottom creating a peplum. The sleeves are full at the top and are folded over at the bottom to form long, narrow cuffs finished with a column of decorative buttons. Based on this design, I believe the sleeves can be pushed up to create a mutton sleeve, although they can be worn either way. The short pencil skirt can fit at or slightly above your natural waist. No fabric tag is present, but it is most likely a silk faille (a fabric that is ribbed like grosgrain ribbon), and the lining appears to be black silk. Labeled size 6. However, after comparing the waist and hip sizes to other size 6 suits in our inventory, we are also recommending it for size 4. Please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding size.
