This bag is a chameleon! The removable shoulder strap takes it from day to night; it's a shoulder bag and a clutch... all in a handy size for day to day use.  The trouble with most clutches is that you can't put your necessities in them. This bag is plenty large enough for all the stuff you can't leave home without.  Perfect for travel and for daily use, which is probably why Coach kept this style in production for well over two decades! This one was made at the New York City factory, and has had the strap swapped at some point in its' life. The Convertible Clutch originally came with a non-adjustable strap; the strap on this bag is very much adjustable, allowing it to be worn as a long shoulder or crossbody style.

~CONDITION:

Fantastic vintage condition!  There are two small blips in the form a split on the piping (shown in a close up) and some paint (?) spots on the back that remain after its' spa treatment. It has been cleaned with a pH balanced cleaner, the suede inside cleaned, conditioned the leather and the brass polished; this bag was worth the extra steps... it's gorgeous!
