What a brilliant beautiful red bag! Made at Coach's original New York City factory, this bag was introduced in the late 80's as a twist on a traditional doctors bag but made with longer handles so it can comfortably be carried by hand or on the arm, and a reinforced base will keep it looking the same... even when it's full of your purse stuff! Coach offered it in this size and a larger version that came with a strap. It's a fantastic small medium sized bag that can go just about anywhere with you, and look great while doing so..

Welllll....it has come a long way from when I got it, that's for sure! I can't give it excellent vintage condition due to the ink stain on the bottom corner (though if I can give it a silver lining, it's in a pretty good place; almost imperceptible when it's being used thanks to it being in the bottom corner). When I got it it was covered in something sticky! Like a hard candy had been rolled all over the inside and out! There are some small pen and ink marks throughout inside that you can see in a couple of pics too. It took careful cleaning to work around the ink to not spread it, but the purse cleaned up like a star! Some nice conditioning and a cleaning of the brass, and its ready to head off on its next adventure.
