Luxury lingerie indeed. However this is a mix of opposites. STUNNING but there are flaws, thus the lower price.
Pink poly satin peignoir mixes with poly chiffon for amazing finish. The nightgown is fashioned after the nightgowns of the 30s with tapering straps that are part chiffon and still adjustable. The bodice is all embroidered tulle, Venise lace and pearl beads. Chiffon gores (!) give it volume and movement and a little sheerness too. The wrap robe is satin with chiffon sleeves and side seam pockets, both sides, and has original tie belt. The gown is a medium and the robe is a small but runs big. CONDITION NOTES: One of the plastic strap slides is broken, and neither strap slide holds, so you may need to sew them in place so they stay. The nightgown has some fabric ripples, which happens a lot in really slippery satin (shown) They do not iron out. No holes or stains. The robe is flawless. (PS: now you know what happened to Baby Jane...)
