This set is simply phenomenal! Pit Ginsburg, a former lawyer who was first an artisan doing pieces for Fantastic Merchandise--and then the founder of the high-end company Bespaq--put his personal refinements on this wonderful two-tone Victorian bedroom. It is a majestic, eye-catching, sumptuous, unforgettable bedroom suite!

Pieces include an elaborate bed, a mirrored dresser, a washstand/small dresser, and two small bedside tables with drawers. All are amazingly detailed and put together with a true artist's eye.

Scale is 1:12--meaning that one inch of mini furniture equals one foot of real-life furniture.

All drawers and doors should open. Some of the drawer pulls are quite delicate, though, so I haven't opened all of them yet. I'll leave that exploration to the new owner.

Each piece has a Fantastic Merchandise sticker on bottom, and each one is signed. Some are dated 1984, some 1985. This set is #390 of a limited edition.

Note that the bed's headboard comes off for easier shipping. There are small wooden pins that allow you to slide the pieces together again. I've shown that in the last picture.

The bed is fully dressed in neutral tones, with some throw pillows in pops of maroon. I admire the micro-pleating of the bed skirt.

**Small flaw: a couple of marks on top of the nightstands, probably from the previous owner having put things there. I find no other flaws to note, but this set is almost 40 years old, so keep age in mind.
