Designed by Bill Blass, in dramatic deep colors, this lush silk scarf is a vintage 30 inch square with a colorful floral fantasy pattern. A mix of colors include shades of purple, green, teal, red, black and white. The hem is a hand rolled and stitched designer style with edges that still remain puffy.

The "BILL BLASS" block signature logo appears in one corner.

The fabric content label is missing, however with one touch you know this is a wonderful silk fabric.

It is a 30 inch square, which is a standard size to use in so many ways, just a few of which are shown here. This size was most popular in the mid 20th century.

The fabric has a soft vintage silk feel and drape to it. As a bonus to the new owner I will include several Scarf Donuts. With these you can easily wear scarves without the need to knot or tie them.

As you can see, it is in Excellent Vintage condition, with no issues at all to report. The only thing I can find to report is that the fabric content label is missing.

William Ralph "Bill" Blass (1922 –2002) was an American fashion designer known for his fine design, tailoring and innovative combinations of textures and patterns. He received seven COTY AWARDS for fashion and the Fashion Institute of Technology's Lifetime Achievement Award.
