Structured vintage 1980s skirt suit from Valentino comprises a jacket and pencil skirt woven in columns of wool twill with narrow recessed stripes in between. In front, the jacket has no collar, five buttons, two patch pockets, and one decorative breast pocket flap. In back, it has three box pleats, a buttoned demi-belt, and a vent that is closed with two more buttons. The jacket also has square, padded shoulders, and the sleeves have buttoned cuffs. The skirt has small open pleats in front, on seam pockets, back zipper and walking vent. The shell fabric is wool, and the linings are silk. Labeled US vintage size 8, however, based on the skirt measurements, the modern size is closer to a size 4. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.
