Adorable vintage 1980s suit from Valentino features a jacket with ruffled peplum and brown velvet collar. The jacket also has padded shoulders, notched lapels, and two buttons. The co-ordinating pencil skirt has a side zipper and on-seam pockets. No fabric labels are present, but it is clearly wool with what appears to be a synthetic (possibly silk) brown lining. Both pieces are labeled size 6, but sizing tables indicate it is a modern size 2-4. Skirt waist has gathers that would allow for it to be enlarged but would require a splice on the waistband.
