Lovely 1980s vintage coat from Valentino features a striking fuschia or magenta ribbed fabric with a black velvet collar. The coat zips up the front and as two flap pockets (still stitched closed), and three-button cuffs. It appears that the coat once had shoulder pads that were removed from underneath the lining and the lining re-stitched. No fabric label is present, but it looks and feels like a wool blend (it's soft so might have some silk or cashmere in the mix). The velvet collar is silk or a silk blend. Labeled size 14, but sizing charts estimate it is a modern size 10-12, allowing for a little extra room that outerwear needs to have.
