RARE Circa 80's FARMUM Nantucket Lightship Basket Handbag
Signed Farnum on the Bottom with the Year "80"

It is RARE due to the Design on the Lid of Two Carved Seagulls. There is an additional Carved Seagull Inside. There are Scrimshaw Buttons on the Handle on Each Side that are Seagulls. The Bottom has four little white feet and is Signed Farnum 80.

Ivoryite, synthetic ivory, was used for the Closure, the sides of the handles, and the plaque. Ivoryrite was created to substitute for ivory to eliminate the needless hard to animals.
