Vintage 1980s midi dress by Soma. I love the lines of this. It looks like a wrap dress but it isn't. Zips in the back.

Unfortunately, it has some condition issues, but it is wearable as is.

Bad news first. - It has some discolorations mostly around the neck area - mostly inside the neckline where you cannot see very well when worn, but there is a small discolored spot on the lapel. (see close ups) The black designs on the lapels were ironed on originally, and they are starting to peel in a couple of spots. Dress could use a professional ironing. You can take things to the dry cleaners and just have them pressed. They don't need to dry clean the whole thing. I would do it, but it is going to get wrinkled in the mail anyway. Price reflects this.

Good News - The dress is clean and wearable as is.

What I like about this dress is the waist detail. The half circle with the buttons and pleats is very flattering and stylish. I've not seen another like it. It also features detachable shoulder pads. Zip closure in back.

The dress is 80% acetate and 20% nylon.

Label says Soma - size 8, Dry clean.

Measurements are taken seam to seam while laying flat.

Doubled for waist, bust, & hips.

Shoulders: Undefined - Approx 16” (40. 5cm)

Bust: 36"

Waist: 26"

Hips: 38"

Length from shoulder to hem: 46”
