Ok, early 90's kids: Magical School Bus, Miss Frizzle... feel it? This is a Miss Frizzle dress!

A kind of kooky and fun print dress for a kooky and fun person, this shirtdress (50's style) features an abstract floral print with crazy lines and hand-drawn style details. The color palette is also very interesting, with mainly warm tones, with neutrals in the background, and then some splashes of cool lilac and periwinkle mixed in with black strokes. The fabric is a lightweight to medium weight woven rayon with a super soft hand. Typical to 80's styles, the silhouette is somewhat top-heavy, with extra wide shoulders (no shoulder pads though!) and wide, short sleeves. The skirt is on a bias cut, which gives it some lovely folds. There are large hip pockets! The center front features a full button-down closure with large, clear buttons (except the button two replacement buttons which are semi-transparent). Overall condition is excellent with no flaws to note and little to no signs of wear (except aforementioned buttons) -please see photographs for full details. Most likely homemade, with no labels or maker's marks.
