80s Crewneck Sweater Deadstock White Pastel Birds-eye$28.00
This deadstock vintage, ladies crewneck 80s sweater has the perfectly normcore label “Basic Outlook”! What this white and pastel-colored “birds-eye” stitch sweater reminds me most of is the character of Nancy from “Stranger Things”. It is feminine and just a bit preppy--a very of-the-era, small-town style. The medium-weight acrylic sweater has ribbed trim at the neckline, cuffs, and the hip-length hem. It is designed to fit relatively closely to the body, as shown, and is a pretty good fit for our size XS-32B mannequin, although it will also stretch to fit a small (see measurements). The sweater is in very good condition, appearing unworn. It does have one minor manufacturer’s flaw in the knit: a small area on the right sleeve where the birds-eye stitch was missed (see close-up photo). Pair with light wash mom jeans for an authentic 80s look!
