It's a basic but as LunaJunction likes to say, "It's HOW you wear it!". Classic styling, BUT when you add that buckle, the styling possibilities are endless, and I will include the white buckle, (It's a lot older than the tee). On the model, the sleeves were rolled up and the buckle was added in back to make it a midriff top, like in the 40s. One photo shows it in front pulling the top tighter around the waist, so you don't have to try and figure out that "half tuck"-thing!
