This elegant, 1980s (maybe early 1990s) evening suit from Oscar de la Renta is comprised of two beautiful fabrics - a heavy silk satin for the skirt and portrait collar, and what looks and feels like a silk and rayon blend black velvet for the jacket shell. Both pieces are lined in black silk charmeuse. The jacket has a flattering portrait collar, two columns of big, corded butons, two flap pockets, and lightly padded shoulders. Modern sizing appears to be 8-10. Please use the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.

CONDITION
Excellent condition with alteration to skirt. To lengthen the skirt, a 3-inch wide panel has been added below the waistband. This alteration was quite expertly done, and could easily be reversed if you want to take the skirt back to its original length (doing so could also allow for a slightly larger waist size if needed). Otherwise, the suit looks like new.
