This black silk dress from renowned American designer, Bill Blass, features a diagonal middriff panel of black lace over a nude-colored chifffon. The top of the dress has a classic jewel neckline and long, tapered sleeves with three self-covered buttons at each wrist. The skirt below the lace panel is swagged at the waistline on the left side. There are no labels in the dress, but the shell fabric looks and feels like silk, as does the black lining. The measurements indicate it is closest to a modern size Large, or 10-12 .
