I took one look at the California desert and mountainscape painted in this bowl at a recent sale and had to have it! The owner said it was by artist Mark Blumenfeld & the signature looks to be that.

The colors are a deep greeny blue with a sandy beige background. What a California dreamy way of having your morning cereal or evening soup!

No flaws to speak of, there are super tiny pits in some spots but they are part of the hand work of this piece. They are covered by glaze and add to it’s gorgeousness.
