Get romantic with this 1980's-does-1950's cardigan sweater featuring floral stump work!

Okay, so I feel pretty foolish right now. This incredible cardigan sweater is from designer label Christian Dior... HOWEVER, I removed the label prior to dyeing this piece, and guess what? I lost the label! Yup. If I find the label, this listing will be updated, but for now you will have to take my word for it. Originally an ivory color, I could not lift the mild stains from this piece, so I over-dyed it to one of my favorite hues: a dusty grey-lilac purple color. The fiber content is mainly cotton but features an either rayon, or silk streak through the yarn (it glints in the light). the silhouette is classic cardigan sweater, but with off-set shoulder seams, so ubiquitous in the 80's. There are a few fanciful details, including carved shell buttons (I've had to replace a few broken ones) and gorgeous floral stump worn style, yarn embroidery around front AND back neckline. No labels present (as mentioned above, the Christian Dior label was removed and misplaced). Overall condition is very good with some light pilling throughout, light discoloration at back neck, slight color lightening at shoulders, repair at hem, and very mild spotting at back left cuff -please see photographs for full details.

- 40 inch bust (un-stretched)
- 30 inch waist (un-stretched)
- 19 inch total length from shoulder to hem
